My target audience
My target audience is for males aged 16 to 20, I chose this age range because I want this magazine to be more mature and some of the content e.g. vocabulary may be inappropriate for people under the ages of 16. Also people at the age of 16 are likely to be going to their first concerts and people around 17, 18 will be likely to be going to their first festivals. My magazine will feature lots of reviews and advertisement for upcoming gigs' and festivals to keep my target audience up to date with where their favorite bands are touring and to give them the key dates.
Mood board
My mood board shows some of the types of bands I would want to include in my magazine, pictures of concerts and festivals for this genre because I would like to include articles in my magazine about live reviews. I also have a picture of an Idea of what a fan of this music may look like.
Genre for my music magazine
The genre I have chosen for my magazine is heavy rock and metal because I don't feel like any rock or metal magazines have enough content featuring more recent bands of these genres. The magazines that do look more into metal such as 'Metal Hammer magazine' only have monthly issues, I would like to design a magazine that would be released on a weekly basis.

Title of magazine
This is the logo I designed for my magazine with the title built in to the picture. The fist symbolises that the music genre is strong and that sometimes brutal.
